Dear gentle souls,
I’ve been starting a new tiny habit —to hold space for myself for at least three slow breaths a day. As a Highly Sensitive Person and Empath and work-from-home mom with three young sons, I’ve discovered that I need to nourish myself with nurturing energies. Having energetic nourishment is much more important than nourishing myself with food.
Doing this tiny habit has helped me to calm myself while one or more of my kids were having meltdowns, reduce my tendency to scroll mindlessly on my phone, and prepare myself for energy healing work. It feels much easier to hold a loving and compassionate space for my loved ones and clients right after I’ve held space for myself.
Here’s a short video I recorded to share my ritual to hold space for myself:
This week, I’m filled with gratitude for the human angels who helped me birth my tiny picture book — My Blue Lotus and Me, and for my son who gave me a memorable life lesson on love and acceptance.
Here are the two stories I wrote:

I hope you’ll give these a read :)
I wish you a lovely restful weekend,
